Andrew O'Neill Unironically Sings Some Songs They Like

I saw this a few days ago. It's what it sounds like, about an hour of one person singing songs and a bit of chat. For me, probably the most interesting bit was Andrew admitting that a big part of the reason for doing an online event was a trick to force themselves to practice.

For those who haven't heard of Andrew O'Neill they're a singer and guitarist in the band "The Men That Will Not Be Blamed for Nothing". They are also a stand-up comedian, I can strongly recommend their History of Heavy Metal. They've written a book, A History of Heavy Metal, been on the radio, TV and in at least one film. They're also an amateur occultist, I don't know how much time that takes up but I'm going to assume a fair bit.

I find it very reassuring that you can be the sort of person who does all of these things and still need to force yourself to practise. That's sort of the point of this website for me. The idea is to write at least one post per week (that's an aim, I'm going to try and get closer). The point is not the posts, the point is to make sure I do something each week that's worth writing a post about. So imagined reader you're helping me try and be a better person, even if you don't exist.
